Battery cells and Semi

Tesla is again pulling out a few billions to invest in a production facility. This time, Tesla is investing more than €3 billion in two new factories.
Tesla reports that it is investing €3.3 billion in its Gigafactory in the US state of Nevada. That enormous production facility must be expanded with two new factories. Tesla does not assemble cars in Nevada, but builds battery cells, battery packs and electric motors there, among other things. But the manufacturer sees room for more. After the total of $5.7 billion it has already put into its Nevada manufacturing facility, Tesla is adding another $3.3 billion to its Gigafactory.
With this new investment, Tesla wants to expand its Gigafactory in Nevada with two new factories. In one of these, the company wants to produce 100 GWh of 4680 battery cells on an annual basis. According to the brand, that is enough for 1.5 million cars. In addition, Tesla is building a factory there where it wants to produce its Semi on a large scale. Together, the two new factories should create 3,000 new jobs.
