Discount on basic version

The Tesla Model Y is becoming cheaper. The rear-wheel drive Tesla Model Y will become a few thousand euros less expensive in the Netherlands. You can now get in for less than €45,000. This means that Tesla Model Y is eligible for SEPP purchase subsidy for the first time!
Shortly after Tesla lowered the prices of the Model 3 and Model Y in the United States for the umpteenth time, the Model Y also benefited from a price reduction in the Netherlands. It is only the rear-wheel drive version, simply called Tesla Model Y, that will become less expensive. The Tesla Model Y with rear-wheel drive and a range of 455 kilometers now has a price of €44,990. This makes this entry-level version €2,000 cheaper. The prices of the Tesla Model Y Long Range (€53,990) and Performance (€59,990) remain unchanged.
The fact that the price of the Tesla Model Y is now below €45,000 for the first time is quite interesting for Dutch consumers. This means that you are now also eligible for a SEPP purchase subsidy with the Tesla Model Y. This means that – under certain conditions – another €2,950 will be deducted from the price. Given the success of the Tesla Model Y, we wouldn’t be surprised if the SEPP subsidy fund runs out faster soon. Over the first nine months of this year, the Tesla Model Y was not only the most registered new EV in the Netherlands, but also the most registered new passenger car.
