“Tesla with German company on the way to wireless charging”

Just park and recharge

“Tesla with German company on the way to wireless charging”

Tesla is said to be working on wireless charging and has targeted a German company that specializes in this. Tesla previously gave a small hint of how wireless charging would work.

Tesla would like to take over the German company Womanerion, it is reported Gründerszene by Business Insider. That acquisition would be remarkable, because Wiferion focuses on the wireless charging of electrical devices via induction. For the time being, Wiferion focuses its technology on (autonomous) small transport vehicles that can be used in distribution centers, for example. On a larger scale, however, the technology could also be suitable for passenger cars.

Tesla has probably already shown what a Tesla wireless charging can look like recently. In March, Tesla showed in a video a Model S parked in a garage with a mysterious charger on the wall next to it. It didn’t seem to be connected to the car, but to a black unit on the garage floor below the car. If Tesla does indeed take over Womanerion, there is a good chance that it will make such a way of recharging possible. Time will tell.
