Test friends’ knowledge with the Instagram Stories quiz feature

With Instagram Stories you can go in all sorts of directions, but now the app also lets you ask multiple choice questions. Here’s how to add a quizpoll to Instagram Stories.

Add Instagram Stories quiz sticker

Instagram Stories are now at least as popular among users as the normal posts. The social medium therefore regularly releases new features to expand the possibilities of Stories. From now on you can post a poll in your story with multiple choice answers.

Where with the long-standing poll function you can only let people choose from two answers, the quiz function allows you to ask questions with up to four answer options. For example, you can test your friends or followers by filling your stories with quiz questions. To add a quiz to Instagram Stories, take a photo, video or boomerang as usual, then do the following.

  1. Tap the sticker icon at the top right, third from the left;
  2. In the overview, press the icon of the quiz function;
  3. Ask a question at the top and then add two, three or four answers;
  4. Tap the correct answer so it turns green, then tap Done in the top right.

If the quizpoll is the way you want it, you can move it or make it bigger or smaller with two fingers. The nice thing about the quiz function is that users who answer the question immediately see if they have given the correct answer. This is the answer you marked as green.

Share with best friends

Would you rather not send such a quizpoll to all your followers? For a while now, it has been possible to share your Instagram Stories only with best friends. That way, mutual jokes and private matters remain within the group of friends, without having to leave Instagram. Another addition for the temporary posts is a countdown sticker.
