The new week is just around the corner, but before that, let’s take a look back at the last seven days. The editors of iPhoned has rounded up the best iOS apps, games and updates from last week.
Last week’s 4 best iOS apps
The App Store is working overtime every week. New apps, updates for existing programs and games are added all the time. You probably don’t notice this much, because most of it is not worth downloading. iPhoned therefore separate the wheat from the chaff every Sunday. Here are this week’s best iOS apps, updates, and games.
1. Duo Lingo
The handy language course app Duo Lingo has had a major update. The biggest change is the fact that the app is now available for iOS in dark mode. You do not have to set this internally yourself: the mode works automatically if you have set the dark mode in iOS.
Duo Lingo has been one of the best language apps for a few years now. You can easily learn different languages at the same time here. Through a voice that speaks the words and sentences, you learn both written language and its pronunciation. You can set reminders to do some exercises every day for a few minutes: a fun project where you see progress every time.
2. Spongebob Krusty Cook
In this surprisingly addictive game you stand behind the griddle in the Krusty Krab. It basically works the same as many other restaurant games. The faster you prepare the dishes for the bikini bottom residents, the more money you will earn.
With your earned money you can then buy even better stuff to help your customers even faster. That way you can earn even more money, buy even more stuff, and so on. You will see that you will not easily put down the game once you have started.
3. Chaos Road
Chaos Road is both a racing and shooting game. Your task is to save the city by taking out criminal bosses. While you are driving on a race track you are also busy beating your opponents by shooting at them.
If you do it right you can also improve your car more and more and get better weapons. Doing different daily and weekly missions will earn you even more rewards. The game can also be played offline.
4. Kartrider Rush+
Another racing game released this week was KartRider Rush+. The racing game is somewhat reminiscent of Mario Kart. With the colorful characters you can play alone or against your friends. Moreover, you can of course personalize your car exactly the way you want.
There are several options to play. In Story Mode you can learn the stories of each character and in Speed Race Mode you compete against your opponents. With the simple controls you can get started in no time.
