The new week is just around the corner, but before that, let’s take a look back at the last seven days. The editors of iPhoned has rounded up the best iOS apps, games and updates from last week.
Last week’s best iOS apps
The Apple App Store is working overtime every week. New apps, updates to existing applications and games appear all the time. You probably don’t notice this much, because most of the programs are not worth downloading. iPhoned therefore separate the wheat from the chaff every Sunday. Here are the best iOS apps, updates, and games from last week.
1. The First Tree
The First Tree makes the switch from the game console to iOS. In this beautifully designed game you play as a fox in the forest. You follow two stories: in the first, a fox is looking for her lost family. In the second story, a fox son is looking for his father in Alaska.
You can walk around freely through the beautiful landscape. The game is a nice combination of an emotional story and a beautiful environment. This premium game will undoubtedly provide a lot of relaxation.
2. DeLight: The Journey Home
We stay with the four-legged theme for a while. DeLight: The Journey Home tells an emotional story about a blind girl who befriends a stray dog. Together they set out in search of the girl’s parents.
However, the city has been completely destroyed by the war that is going on. Along the way you will encounter all kinds of characters, some need your help, and others try to capture you. The adventure is beautifully designed and will keep you captivated until the end.
3. Twitter
Like Instagram and Facebook, Twitter comes with a Story-like feature. Twitter introduced the Fleets feature this week. Normally, Tweets you post remain forever, but Fleets disappear after 24 hours.

Twitter wants to achieve that users have a say about what is going on in the world, without being nervous about posting public or permanent tweets. The temporary posts appear at the top of the Twitter timeline. Do pay attention to what you post, because it is possible for your followers to take a screenshot of your Fleets.
4. Moonlighter
Like The First Tree, Moonlighter is also coming to iPhone from game consoles. In this action game, you use the daylight to sell your loot, and the night to defeat your enemies. You play as the adventurous shop owner Will, who wants nothing more than to become a hero.
In the moonlight you will battle all kinds of monsters. Tactics and agility are key here. The app is reasonably priced, but you get a very large and exciting game in return.
