The 5 best iOS apps in the App Store from week 23 – 2020

The new week is just around the corner, but before that, let’s take a look back at the last seven days. The editors of iPhoned has rounded up the best iOS apps, games and updates from last week.

Last week’s 5 best iOS apps

The App Store is working overtime every week. New apps, updates to existing programs and games are added all the time. You probably don’t notice this much, because most of it is not worth downloading. iPhoned therefore separate the wheat from the chaff every Sunday. Here are this week’s best iOS apps, updates, and games.

1. Tasks

The brand new tasks app Tasks works like a reminders app, and at the same time lets you organize all your projects in a well-organized way. The app works very intuitively. Moreover, you can easily prioritize certain tasks yourself. The app is very similar to iOS 13’s Reminders app, because it’s based on that too. Still, there are a number of added features that make the app just a little more practical.

Your tasks are divided into projects, so you can create a list for work tasks and a list for chores, for example. By means of tags you can quickly find the tasks you are looking for. If you have a number of very important tasks, you give them priority. They will then appear in a separate ‘Must do’ section.

2. Pinterest

The iOS app from inspiration platform Pinterest has added a nice new feature. It is now possible to search for products based on a photo in the Shop tab. All you have to do is tap the camera button in the search bar and take a photo or upload an existing photo.

For example, if you take a photo of a lamp, Pinterest will show you all kinds of pictures that contain lamps. Pinterest will only show you products that are still in stock to avoid disappointment. Click on an image to be immediately redirected to the seller’s site.

3. Atom RPG

The year is 1986, and both the Soviet Union and the Western Bloc have been destroyed by nuclear bombs. As a player you are one of the survivors. Your mission is to explore and investigate the devastated land. Gradually you find out that there is a plan to destroy all remaining life on Earth.

To put a stop to that, set out and defeat your enemies with a choice of over 150 weapons. Don’t you think violence is the answer? Through the multiple choice menu you can also find other solutions to progress, such as breaking open locks. The app is reasonably priced, but you get a nice, extensive game in return.

4. Angelo and Deemon

This adventure game is a true product of its time: you play a blogger who goes to hell to shoot a viral video. By tapping in the right places you will be taken into the story. With the necessary humor you end up in all kinds of special situations.

The blogger, Angelo, follows the Grim Reaper to hell to gain more followers for his video channel. Once there, he can’t just record a video. On his adventure, he encounters all kinds of people he has to help, and there are also several puzzles that need to be solved.

5. Bomb Bots Arena

Good news for fans of the classic game Bomberman: Bomb Bots Arena takes the same principle, with another twist. With your own robot, which you can of course personalize, you place bombs in corridors on the playing field to take out your opponents.

You play it online against friends or other opponents from all over the world. Different tactics allow you to dodge bombs. In addition, you have all kinds of ways to ensure that your bombs can hit the opponent. A very entertaining game, and the beautiful graphics help with that as well.
