The week is over and that means that a fresh app overview is waiting for you. As far as we are concerned, you should not miss these new apps, games and updates. You can find the best iOS apps from week 25 here.
The best iOS apps at a glance
The App Store works overtime every week to handle the never-ending stream of new apps and updates. You won’t notice this much though, because only a small portion of it is worth installing. If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch can use some new apps, you’ve come to the right place.
1. Telepaint
Telepaint lets you play like a bucket of paint, which you have to help with puzzling to get to the brush. You do this by teleport, which happens when the bucket passes through a block that you have activated. You have to take into account the direction the bucket is going to and the obstacles you see along the way. You use the portals to quickly navigate through the level.

2. Pokémon GO
Almost exactly on Pokémon GO’s first anniversary, Niantic is releasing its biggest update in months. For example, there are now Raids: group battles against an enormously powerful Pokémon. Every day you get a Raid Pass with which you can participate in such a boss fight. The raid function seems to add something else according to some observant players. The update code reveals that we will soon be getting special Legendary Raids that will finally allow you to catch Legendary Pokémon.

3. Sonic The Hedgehog
Sonic the Hedgehog came out in 1991 for the Sega Genesis, which actually started the entire Sonic series. In the game you race through the world as the famous blue hedgehog, while jumping and collecting coins. SEGA has optimized the platformer for the iPhone and iPad. Sonic therefore runs at a smooth 60 frames per second, making the game look better than ever. Sonic does not require an internet connection, contains all levels from the original game and even gives you some stickers that you can use in iMessage.

4. Water less
It doesn’t happen often, but when the Dutch heat plan is in effect, you know that extreme temperatures are being reached. Drinking enough is always important, but extra necessary during these extreme temperatures. To get a better idea of how much you drink, you can use Waterminder. This app shows the minimum daily amount of moisture you should take in, depending on your height, weight and build.

5. Mr. Future Ninja
Mr Future Ninja is a game where stealth is central. You play as a ninja who invades the headquarters of an evil corporation, carefully taking out all enemies in your path. Every situation requires a different approach, in which you have to think carefully. The game is distinguished by its beautiful visual style and great soundtrack, and in our opinion is one of the most beautiful games in the App Store.
