The week is over and that means that a fresh app overview is waiting for you! You should not miss these new apps, games and updates. You can find the best iOS apps from week 28 here.
The best iOS apps at a glance
The App Store works overtime every week to handle the never-ending stream of new apps and updates. You don’t notice that much, however, because only a fraction of it is worth installing. If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch can use some new apps, you’ve come to the right place.
1. Illi
It’s time for a top free game again, because Apple has named Illi as App of the Week. You only need one finger to play this game. The hairy snail runs automatically, while you make the animal jump. Each level is divided into small floating platforms that the snail sticks to. The creature walks in circles until you tap the screen and the creature makes a jump. This sounds easier than it is. Obstacles are soon placed on the platform.

2. Waze
Navigation app Waze already had a large list of voices, but it is of course a lot more fun if your partner, child or good friend accompanies you along the way. Before you start recording, the app does warn you that you need to be clear to ensure rider safety. By first giving your voting package a name, you can then read the various instructions one by one. ‘Everything set. Let’s go.’ for example, a recording that can last up to six seconds.

3. Enlight Photofox
Enlight Photofox is a photo editing app equipped with all the features you need to edit images on the go. With Photofox you can not only do simple edits, but also apply filters to your photos and combine them. A new feature in Enlight Photofox is the ability to use layers. With this you can, for example, combine two or more photos with each other, and have them merge in different ways.

4. Infltr
Infltr makes it easy to put together your own filter. By moving your finger across the screen, you can create your own style for a photo step by step. This makes more than seven million combinations possible. You can then also choose these filters before printing a photo, so that you immediately know what the end result will look like. The app is temporarily available for free download via the Apple Store app. Normally you pay 2.29 euros for Infltr.

5. Discord
Discord has now been around for a little over two years and has grown enormously in that short time. This is not only due to the tight focus of the app, namely communicating while gaming, but also because Discord is excellent in terms of ease of use and possibilities. Not only is the app used for talking online while gaming, but it is also a great place to meet others and hang out with your friends online. Read more in our Eyeball about Discord.
