Today the final exams of the secondary schools started. In this article you will find the 7 best apps that will get you through the final exams.
The best exam apps during final exams
We haven’t collected any apps to practice teaching materials with, you probably got that from school. We do include a number of exam apps in this list that help you concentrate or that you can use for learning. Good luck!
1. Final exam app
The name of this exam app is obvious: the Final exam app is made to take some work off your hands during the final exam period. With the built-in calendar you can clearly map out when you have an exam. You can also create a schedule here, so that you don’t just start learning somewhere. The app will also come in handy after the exam, because you can quickly find the viewing documents in it. That way you already know a bit about how you stand.

2. Google Keep
There are hundreds of apps for taking notes in the App Store. If you want to do that on your own, then the standard Notes app on iOS is enough. Google Keep makes collaboration possible. If you are studying with a friend and you are not in the same room, Keep offers a solution. This allows you to form groups of fellow students to work on a document at the same time. For example, you can supplement summaries and share them easily.
3. Sleep Cycle Alarm Clock
Important for studying: rest. The Sleep Cycle Alarm Clock analyzes your sleep and uses the results to wake you up at the right time. If you have set that you want to be woken around a certain time, the app will look when you are in light sleep, so that you wake up rested and relaxed. The app also helps you fall asleep faster with soothing sounds.
4. Pause
While learning, take frequent breaks so that your head doesn’t get too full. Pause is an app (from the makers of Monument Valley) that lets you take a moment to rest. On the screen, follow a growing dot with your finger until it fills the entire screen. Then close your eyes and continue swiping the screen while enjoying soothing music.
5. Todoist
There are also plenty of todo apps in the App Store. For this article we take the free app Todoist, one of the better apps for making lists. This allows you to easily plan what you still need to do for your exam. This way you keep an overview. A todo app also helps you because it gives you a sense of accomplishment to cross off tasks. This way you always work towards an ’empty’ day. With Todoist you can also create lists for teams, if you divide certain tasks with other students.
6. Be Focused
With Be Focused you go a bit further than the above exam apps. This app divides a study day into several parts and time. The tasks are divided by short breaks. According to the makers, this is a good way of studying, because it keeps you focused and motivated. Taking a break every now and then after stamping out facts is a relief.

7. Forest
Admit it: While your iPhone is great at helping you study, it’s also the ultimate source of distraction. If you’re having trouble putting your iPhone down, Forest can lend a hand. In this app you plant a tree, which starts to grow as soon as your iPhone is locked. If you unlock the device before the preset period has expired, an impressive forest will never be created. Forest continuously keeps statistics of these concentration sessions, so that over time you can see how well you can really concentrate without having to look at your smartphone every once in a while.
