CAD drawings reveal iPhone Fold design
Sonny Dickson has unveiled two schematic drawings of a smartphone that looks strikingly similar to the iPhone Fold. Although there is limited information available, the drawings provide a clear impression of what we can expect.
In recent years, Sonny has shared such information more often and it often turned out to be correct, which makes the reliability of these drawings high. Accessory manufacturers often use these sketches to develop cases and other accessories.
Passport design
What is immediately noticeable about the drawings is that the design differs from the foldable smartphones of other brands. Apple seems to be opting for a more compact and wider device that is the size of a passport when closed, and a longer version when unfolded; this makes the iPhone Fold more reminiscent of a longer version when unfolded; This makes the iPhone Fold more reminiscent of a landscape iPad when opened.
Camera platform with two lenses
The iPhone Fold has clear similarities with the iPhone Air, both in terms of materials and design.
