The European sales top of November

The European car market did not do too well last month due to the new revival of the corona virus, but there were also models that were sold in larger numbers. These are the 10 best-selling models on the European market in November.

The full annual overview will take a while until all the final figures are received in January, but research agency JATO does know which models rolled out of the showroom in Europe most often in November. The Volkswagen Golf is number 1 with 24,784 copies. Toyota’s Yaris follows in second place with 19,397 units. In October, Toyota managed to wear 17,903 of the model and compared to November 2019 the increase is even 29 percent. The Renault Clio follows behind the Yaris in third place with 19,160 copies. However, the biggest climber compared to November 2019 is the Peugeot 2008, whose sales numbers increased by no less than 46 percent. PSA has a strong position in the top 10 with three models anyway.

The fuel car therefore still seems the most popular in Europe. Interestingly enough, many models in the top 10 managed to make a significant rise in November, despite the fact that most brands, on the whole, actually fell. Across Europe, total car sales fell by 12 percent compared to 2019 to 897,692 units. The Dutch list of the best-selling cars in November has a number of similarities with that of Europe, but also differs on a number of points. The Volkswagen ID3, Volvo XC40 and Kia Niro do not appear in the European top 10.
