But what do the total annual figures actually look like?

In the first eleven months of this year, a total of 281,383 new cars were registered in the Netherlands. Although the past four months show positive growth figures, the registration figures for the first eleven months of this year are almost 2 percent behind those of the same period last year. We list the most popular brands and models of the past eleven months for you.

Most popular car brands January-November 2022

Kia may call itself the most popular car brand in the Netherlands to date. Up to and including November, the Kia importer delivered almost 28,000 cars in our country, which puts the brand at some distance from Toyota, which did not deliver 23,000 new cars in the same period. Depending on whether and which importers suddenly decide to register many extra cars in the last month of this year, Kia could still lose its top position.
