This Lease top 10 is entirely dedicated to the EV of the Year 2024 Award that was recently presented.
Objectively
The EV of the Year election is an initiative of VZR and was held for the sixth time. An expert jury consisting of experts from AutoWeek, LeasePlan, Eneco eMobility, Algemeen Dagblad and VZR assessed the participating EVs on objective criteria. Consider towing weight, registrations, loading speed and lease price.
Segments
This ensures a measurable and transparent result. To enable participation, there must be at least one hundred registrations of each model. The election is divided into three segments: the middle segment, the high segment and the top segment. Because the overall winner comes from the high segment, this time the entire Lease Top 10 consists of the high segment and in order of result.

Trends
Looking at previous years, a number of trends can be observed. The list prices are still quite high, but have grown closer. There is also a visible increase in the number of cars that are allowed to tow freight. Towing weight has increased, as have loading speeds.
