Seven finalists have been filtered from a list of 28 automotive candidates who have a chance to win the title of Car of the Year 2024. There are only two models that are not SUVs or crossovers.
The 55-member professional jury of the annual international Car of the Year election has selected seven finalists from a list of 28 cars. The list is quite diverse, but mainly consists of long-legged models.
The BMW 5-series and the electric BYD Seal are the only low models that have a chance of winning the title of Car of the Year 2024. Other contenders are the electric Kia EV9, the equally electric Renault Scenic E-Tech and the electric Volvo EX30. The Peugeot 3008/e-3008 and the Toyota C-HR are also among the finalists.
On February 26, the Geneva Motor Show will announce which car will be crowned Car of the Year 2024. Last year, the Jeep Avenger was crowned Car of the Year 2023. A year earlier, the Kia EV6 won the annual election.
