The starting price of just under 27 mille applies to the Astra that is performed in the unnamed standard version. The Opel Astra 1.2 Turbo is also available as an Edition and as a Business Edition and will cost €28,699 and €27,649 in succession.

The 130 hp 1.2 Turbo with automatic transmission is available from Elegance version level and costs €35,449 in that configuration. Plug-in hybrid

The Opel Astra is also available as a plug-in hybrid for the first time. There will be two plug-in hybrid flavors, with the top version having a system power of 225 hp. We don’t have the price of that plug version yet, but we can tell you what the Opel Astra 1.6 Turbo Hybrid with 180 hp costs. The starting price of the plug-in hybrid Astra is €36,969. For that money you get the Edition version. It is also available as Elegance, GS Line, Business Edition and Business Edition Elegance.

The plug-in hybrid Astra 1.6 Turbo Hybrid has a 150 hp 1.6 petrol engine that works together with a 110 hp electric motor. Together they are good for a system power of 180 hp and 360 Nm. The 12.4 kWh battery pack is good for 60 electric kilometers. Who cares about that electric driving range, kicks the plug-in hybrid Astra to 100 km/h in 7.9 counts. Its top speed: 225 km/h.

Diesel

Opel is also bringing a diesel engine to the Astra. That is a 130 hp 1.5 CDTI that is available with both a six-speed manual and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The manual version has a starting price of €36,449. For the version with automatic transmission you will lose €39,199. Mind you, this directly concerns the Elegance versions. They are also available as Business Edition and Business Edition Elegance.

It does not stop at petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid versions of the Opel Astra. In 2023, Opel will launch the Astra-e, a fully electric variant of the new Astra!
