If you have a subscription to Apple Music, Apple Arcade or another service, the company will send you regular emails to renew your subscription. Fortunately, you can also turn off these messages manually.
Turn off Apple subscription notifications
By default, Apple sends emails if something is wrong with your subscription. For example, you will be notified when your subscription expires or if money has been debited from your account. This function is on by default, but can certainly quickly generate several emails per month with multiple subscriptions.
If you find these messages annoying, you can happily disable them manually from now on. To do this, follow the steps below.
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad;
- Tap your name at the top of the screen;
- Tap on ‘Subscriptions’;
- Turn off the switch behind ‘Receive delivery receipts’.
As soon as you turn off the switch, you will also no longer receive emails from third-party subscriptions that you have taken out via your Apple ID. Even if you have disabled these notifications, you can still request a full history of all transactions.
