In Prague, the ink has only just dried up from the Enyaq iV brochure after tonight’s big unveiling, but the Dutch department is not ready for today: this is the (provisional) base price that Dutch customers have to pay for a Skoda Enyaq iV.
That was the day for Skoda. After the brand new Enyaq iV leaked onto the World Wide Web earlier this day, the evening was all about the official unveiling. The Enyaq iV is the first model in the Skoda range to be placed on the modular MEB platform. The Czech brother of the Volkswagen ID.3 is, as we now know, a size bigger and surprisingly also slightly more expensive. In the Netherlands, a brand new Skoda Enyaq iV is currently driving from € 39,990.
That is not the lowest price that Skoda will ask for the EV, because for € 39,990 you can buy an Enyaq 60 iV. That is the second engine version from the list. The Enyaq 50 iV should become the entry-level model with its 109 kW (150 hp) and 55 kWh battery. The Enyaq 60 iV, which is the first to receive an asking price, has a 132 kW (180 hp) electric motor and a larger battery pack of 62 kWh. This version sprints from a standstill to 100 in 8.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 160 km / h. This version achieves 390 WLTP kilometers on one full battery. This version can fast charge DC up to 50 kW as standard (optional 100 kW).
Skoda will open the order books for this Enyaq 60 iV at the end of September. Delivery will start in the first quarter of 2021. Prices for the milder Enyaq 50 iV, more powerful Enyaq 80 iV and the Enyaq vRS iV will follow at a later stage.
