Mercedes Benz EQE SUV

The Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV has a Dutch price. Good news: those who look at the electric Mercedes per meter, as Mercedes seems to do themselves, have a better deal than with the larger EQS SUV.

Okay, maybe a little bland. However, we become a little bit of Mercedes’ model policy, which seems to use the ‘Matroesjka policy’ even more than before with the electric EQ models. Because the EQE resembles the somewhat larger EQS like two drops of water and that applies even more to the SUV brothers of both models, which are not very imaginatively called ‘EQS SUV’ and ‘EQE SUV’. A big difference between the EQE SUV and EQS SUV is that the latter is a seven-seater, while the EQE has five seats. After the brand’s largest electric SUV, it is now the turn of the EQE SUV to receive a price tag. In the Netherlands, Mercedes asks at least €91,950 for that car. That is roughly 76 percent of the base price of an EQS SUV (€120,827), while the EQE SUV with 4.86 meters still reaches 95 percent of the length of the EQS SUV. Count out your profit!

For those just under 92 grand, the EQE SUV is ready as an EQE 350+. Without ‘SUV’ on the tailgate, so. That 350 + version is the only rear-wheel drive of the bunch for the time being and also comes the furthest on a load of power: up to no less than 594 kilometers. The other versions also have 90.6 kWh on board, but do not get as far due to four-wheel drive, more power and/or larger wheels. Just like the rear-wheel drive variant, the EQE 350+ 4Matic has 292 hp, but with 765 instead of 565 Nm more torque. The range here is up to 541 theoretical kilometers and it costs a minimum of €99,089.

The Mercedes EQE 500 4Matic has more power with 408 hp and costs a minimum of €116,755. Above that is the Mercedes-AMG EQE 43 4Matic. That car has 476 hp and 858 Nm and costs €130,791 without options. The even more powerful 53 AMG is also coming, but does not yet have a Dutch price. The options list is a bit shorter with the AMG versions, because the ‘Premium Package’ is standard. In addition to an unnecessary space, this provides, among other things, a panoramic sliding roof and Burmester audio. All EQE SUVs are equipped with a heat pump, reversing camera, active Lane Keeping Assist and Distronic adaptive cruise control as standard.
