“As we look ahead, we will continue to invest in these and other technologies that will shape the future. That includes artificial intelligence, where we continue to spend a tremendous amount of time and effort and we’re excited to share the details of our ongoing work in that space later this year.“

According to Tim Cook, a huge amount of time is currently being spent on developing new AI functions. According to rumors, Siri in particular will have many new functions. The voice assistant will reportedly get better integration with the Shortcuts app in iOS 18. This allows Siri to perform many more tasks and multiple actions can be performed at once.
