Have you lost a rubber ear pad from your AirPods Pro or is one broken? It is possible to replace the ear pads and in this tip you can read how to do this.
This way you can replace AirPods Pro ear pads
Although the rubber ear cushions fit securely around the AirPods Pro, it can of course happen that you lose a set or accidentally damage it. Then you can of course choose to use a different size of the AirPods Pro ear cushions, but they may not be comfortable in your ears.
It is then smarter to order a new set of ear pads, but this is not possible just like that. The separate ear cushions cannot be found in the (online) Apple Store, but you must request them via the Apple support page. You do this as follows:
- Go to this Apple support page or use the Apple Support app on your iPhone or iPad;
- In the screen that appears you will see all Apple devices. Choose ‘AirPods’ here;
- Then select ‘Lost or missing AirPods’ and ‘Replace AirPods Pro earpads’. Then choose ‘Order replacements’.
- Choose your AirPods Pro associated with your Apple ID here. Can’t you see them? Then you can enter the serial number of your AirPods Pro at the bottom. This serial number can be found in fine print on the inside of the AirPods Pro charging case, but you can also check it on your iPhone by going to ‘General> About> AirPods Pro’.
- Once you have done this, you can select the correct size and finally order them. A set costs 3.50 euros (for size S / M / L), but keep in mind that there are service costs.
