The Tissot T-Touch Connect Solar is not a gadget! It is a strong, multifunctional, solar, titanium watch that is not only hypoallergenic, but also very durable and scratch resistant. And, the T-Touch Connect Solar can be connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth, allowing you to use even more functions.
Already smart before smartwatches existed
Tissot introduced the first watch with a touchscreen back in 1999 – when smartwatches as we know them today did not yet exist.
The Tissot T-Touch Connect Solar is a direct descendant of this first T-Touch collection. The navigation system, consisting of push buttons, electronic crown and touchscreen made of scratch-resistant sapphire glass, is designed in such a way that it can be used while practicing any land sport such as hiking, mountain biking, cycling, basketball, etc.
Offline, the watch has the same functions as the regular T-Touch: perpetual calendar, countdown clock, various timers and alarms and weather and altimeter functions. Even if you are not connected to your smartphone, you can still use the watch. In addition, the watch is waterproof up to 100 meters.
In addition, by connecting the watch to your smartphone via Bluetooth, you get access to more interactive features such as activity tracking, calls, etc.
Notifications (SMS, emails) from smartphone applications are controlled via the touchscreen thanks to the proprietary operating system Sw-ALPS, which was fully developed in Switzerland and is compatible with iOS, Android and (soon) Harmony.
Privacy guaranteed
This operating system stores your data securely on servers in Switzerland that guarantee privacy. The watch, applications and connected smartphones cannot send data to third parties.
Extremely economical and sustainable: charge with sunlight
You need to charge most smart and connected watches often. This is not necessary with the T-Touch Connect Solar. All electronic components are energy efficient and the watch is equipped with the latest photovoltaic cells (a solar cell that converts light into electricity). More than 35 patents were filed during the design of this watch!
The battery life of the T-Touch Connect Solar is virtually unlimited when the watch is offline. If it is online, it can work for six months depending on use and sun exposure.
How does the T-Touch Solar work?
The user interface of the T-Touch Connect Solar consists of two push buttons, an electronic crown and a touchscreen (with 7 interactive zones). This allows all functions to be operated.
A long press on the start button turns on the touchscreen. A long press on the “back” button brings back the home screen. The function zones on the watch can be selected with the tap of a finger. Vibration mountings ensure safe use.
Six different models
The 47 mm T-Touch Connect Solar is available in satin titanium, black PVD titanium or rose gold PVD titanium. These cases are combined with straps made of rubber or titanium.
