Togg T10F

The Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas is the stage on which the Turkish manufacturer Togg presents its second Smart Device presents. A smart device? We just call it a car, but an electric one. This is the Togg T10F: an electric fastback with a range of up to 600 kilometers.

In 2019, the still very young Turkish manufacturer Togg showed its first models. At the time, the brand presented us with a pre-production version of an electric SUV in the C-segment and an electric sedan-like one. Although Togg later dished out more new pre-production models, it rarely elaborated on its intended newcomers in detail. Togg currently has one production model: the T10X. The Togg T10X is now joined by a much lower and longer model. This is the Togg T10F. With the F for Fastback.

F follows X

The Togg T10F is not yet completely finalized, but the pre-production model that Togg has now shown during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas looks as if it could run straight off the production line. The T10F – like the T10X, Togg calls it one Smart Device and no car – is 4.83 meters long, 1.88 meters wide and 1.56 meters high. This makes the electric five-door almost 30 centimeters longer and more than 10 centimeters lower than the existing Togg T10X. The wheelbase of the T10F is also longer at 2.89 meters than that of its SUV brother. The difference: 9 centimeters, in favor of Togg’s latest. In terms of length, the T10F is roughly comparable to the Hyundai Ioniq 6.

Up to 600 kilometers range

Just like the T10X, the Togg T10F is fully electric. Togg already foresees three variants. For example, the Togg T10F RWD Standard Range has a 218 hp and 350 Nm electric motor on the rear axle and a 52.4 kWh battery. This combination helps the fastback reach a speed of 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds and a top speed of 175 km/h. Much more important: its reach. According to Togg, that amounts to 350 kilometers. For those who are not enough, Togg has the T10F RWD Long Range in stock. It has the same 218 hp electric motor, but a larger 88.5 kWh battery. This increases the range to 600 kilometers. Above that is the T10F AWD Long Range. It has – you guessed it – four-wheel drive thanks to two electric motors and has the larger battery. It has 435 hp and 700 Nm of torque and, with that electric power, it accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds. The range of that top version: 530 kilometers.

Each Togg must be able to fast charge with up to 180 kW and have V2L technology. The lightest variant weighs 1,939 kilos. The twin-motor version with four-wheel drive and the largest battery pack weighs 2,215 kilos. Togg is already quite convinced that the Togg T10F will achieve the full score of 5 stars during the NCAP safety tests. An extensive package of active and passive safety systems must therefore be standard. The Togg T10F will be available in equipment levels V1 and V2. The V2 variant includes Rush Hour Pilot, which allows you to drive without hands on the wheel at a speed of up to 15 km/h in a traffic jam. Fun fact: the same as the appearance of the Togg T10X, that of the T10F was created together with the help of the Italian design house Pininfarina.

In the interior we find a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 29-inch infotainment screen. Fiercely. Depending on the chosen version, Togg gives the T10F a 12-speaker audio system and – after all, it is 2024 – a social camera to be able to record videos in the car. Important, apparently. The latest Turkish EV will also be available with electrically adjustable seats with memory function. Seat heating at the front is – just like at the rear – optional.

The Togg T10F should be launched in Europe in 2025. The existing Togg – SUV T10X – is also coming to the Netherlands. That should happen by the end of this year. We see no reason to expect that this new electric fastback will not come to the Netherlands.
