Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera will soon release an exclusive new model that marks the company’s 95th anniversary. The Italian coachbuilder has now released the name of the car: Arese RH95. But there is more, Techzle can exclusively show you the patent plates of the Touring Superleggera Arese RH95.
The unveiling of the Touring Superleggera Arese RH95 is not scheduled for June, so Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera is still busy driving the car’s arrival through its social channels. The design house has now released the name and immediately shows a piece of the valve of the Arese RH95, under which the undoubtedly powerful petrol engine is hidden. Techzle has surfaced an extensive set of patent plates on which the Arese RH95 can already be seen from all angles.
Just like the Aero 3 presented last year, the Arese RH95 has a special muzzle with relatively small headlights and a fairly small grille split into two parts. The Arese RH95 is not lacking in striking design elements. For example, the car has butterfly doors with a glass upper part, an air scoop high above the tailgate and a rear part with diffuser and large cooling openings.
The question remains on which the Arese RH95 is based. Alfa Romeo had a factory baptized Arese where the head office was also located until the mid-1980s. This could indicate that the car shares its genes with an Alfa Romeo, although the car does not appear to be affiliated with the 4C on these patent plates. Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera itself is located on Via per Arese in Milan, possibly the Arese part in the name of this newcomer is a reference to his home base. In that case, the Arese RH95 may be based on other cars. Whether the Arese RH95, like the Aero 3, is based on a Ferrari or whether the car may even share its technology with the Maserati MC20, is as yet unclear. We will know more in June!
Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera is now best known for the Disco Volante on an Alfa Romeo basis and its open-work Spyder brother, but the company has a particularly rich portfolio in which various Ferraris and Lamborghinis also claim a place.
