Production and sales increased significantly

Toyota produced 771,382 vehicles as of October 2022. That is 23 percent more than in the same month last year.
Toyota’s figures are telling because it seems that Toyota has some of the problems caused by all kinds of shortages under control. The sales figures also look good. The Toyota and Lexus brands together secured 832,373 signed contracts, while the entire group (including Daihatsu, for example) sold 918,756 vehicles. 718,650 Toyotas were sold outside Japan, marking the third consecutive month of growth in that area. This applies to all regions of the world and in Europe amounts to a growth of 23.5 percent.
In the period from January to October there is just no growth in sales. With 8,631,165 vehicles sold for the entire group, this is a minus of 0.3 percent, although that is quickly being brushed away at this rate. This is also evident from the production for the first ten months of 2022: 8,782,242 units, 7.6 percent more than last year. Outside Japan, sales were already 2.3 percent higher during this period.
