Toyota ProAce Electric
Toyota offers emission-free driving up to 330 km with the Proace Electric. The van has a large loading capacity, can be used as a towing vehicle, appears in many variants and is easy to charge. The warranty on the battery pack is very long.
Immediately you can order the Proace Electric from the Toyota Commercial Vehicle Dealer. The delivery starts from October. Prices are not yet known, but the other figures certainly do not disappoint. You can choose from two battery packs, 50 and 75 kWh, whereby the range of the latter (according to the WLTP measurement) is up to 330 km. With the 136 hp power and the torque of 260 Nm you can drive up to 130 km / h.
Battery pack
Standard you charge the van at an AC charging point with a 16A 3-phase charger of 11 kW. Other possibilities are charging at a regular socket and fast charging via a CCS2 connection up to a peak power of 100 kW. With such a fast charger, the battery is 80 percent full within half an hour (50 kWh version) or 45 minutes (75 kWh). If you use the 3-phase charging point, you can charge an extra 100 km in less than 2 hours.
The warranty on the battery pack is exceptionally long: as long as the car is serviced by a Toyota dealer, it lasts no less than 15 years, with a maximum of 1,000,000 km and up to 75 percent of the original capacity. Since the battery pack is located under the load floor, depending on the version, you have 1,000 to 1,275 kg load capacity. You can also use the electric Proace as a towing vehicle, with a braked weight of up to 1,000 kg.

Many variants
Toyota will release many different versions of the Proace Electric. First, they are a double cabin version – suitable for six occupants and a load of up to 4 m3 – plus three other van variants: the Compact (4.6 m3), the Worker (5.3 m3) and the Long Worker (6.1 to 6.6 m3). If you need more, you can order a Proace Electric Truck with an open body, tipper or custom body up to 10.5 m3. From 2021, a nine-seat Proace Electric Shuttle will also be released for taxi drivers and power stations.
