Toyota RAV4 also as Outdoor

Toyota expands the range of the RAV4 with a new version, the coolly dressed Outdoor. Techzle can immediately report what the new RAV4 version will cost.

Toyota supplies the RAV4 with various powertrains, including a petrol version and a 2.5 Hybrid. Later, a 306 hp plug-in hybrid is added to the delivery range. Today’s RAV4 news is purely related to the conventional RAV4, the variant with the 2.0 of 175 hp under the hood. This type is available with a six-speed manual gearbox, but can also be equipped with a CVT transmission if required. The latter can also be ordered as Outdoor from 1 April.

The Outdoor is a new version that nestles between the Dynamic and the Style. The equipment level is based on that of the Dynamic, but the Outdoor adds a few things to it: it is an optically coolly dressed variant, complete with silver skid plates on the front and rear. Toyota further details it with courtesy lighting on both the driver and passenger sides and front and rear parking sensors, complete with emergency braking. The equipment is further expanded with Smart Rear View Mirror (an interior mirror coupled to a camera) and in terms of safety, the RAV4 also benefits from such things as Panoramic View Monitor, blind spot detection and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, also with braking function.

The price of the new RAV4 Outdoor has been set at € 42,485 and with that it also fits in price-wise fine between the Dynamic cost of € 41,490 and the Style of € 44,490. Footage of the new RAV4 is not yet available. Toyota does, however, supply the RAV4 Adventure in the United States and Japan, a version that also features silver-colored skid plates.
