Triumph celebrates 10 years of Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride with limited Bonneville T120 DGR

On May 21 it’s that time again: the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride. The upcoming edition is also a very special one, as it will be Triumph’s 10th time supporting this commendable event. To celebrate this appropriately, the British have launched a DGR Special Edition of the Bonneville T120 Black, limited to 250 units.

Triumph celebrates 10 years of Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride with limited Bonneville T120 DGR

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) brings together hundreds of thousands of fans of classic and vintage motorcycles around the world to raise money and awareness for men’s health. The DGR was founded in 2012 in Sydney, Australia by Mark Hawwa, as a great new way to bring motorcycle enthusiasts together for a common cause.

The event grew year on year, and has now spread all over the world, with more than 90,000 motorcyclists taking to the streets in more than 800 cities. To date, the event has raised more than $37 million for prostate cancer and men’s mental health research.

Triumph has been the official motorcycle partner of the DGR since 2014 and is committed to raising awareness, increasing participation and ultimately increasing fundraising in support of this worthy cause. Everyone involved in Triumph is proud to have played a key role in the growth of this incredible community, in conjunction with Mark Hawwa and his team.

One of Triumph’s key contributions has been to raise awareness and motivate fundraisers around the world, donating bikes from the Triumph Modern Classic range as a reward for the world’s top fundraisers.

In previous years, these were unique motorcycles, such as a unique Triumph Thruxton RS DGR Edition and a custom Triumph Bonneville T120 ‘1959 Legends’ and matching Gibson Les Paul Standard guitar, which were donated to the best fundraiser of 2022 – the result of a collaboration between Triumph and Gibson.

2023 marks the 10th year of this incredible partnership and marks a huge milestone for both Triumph and the DGR. To celebrate that milestone while helping to make the 2023 DGR event the biggest and most successful edition to date, Triumph has created 250 exclusive new Bonneville T120 Black Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride Limited Edition motorcycles.

They are all designed in a stylish black and white metallic DGR paint job, feature the official DGR branding with a custom logo on the tank and side panels, gold detailing and a recognizable brown seat, and each comes with a numbered certificate. The latter has been signed by DGR founder Mark Hawwa and Triumph CEO Nick Bloor – with the very first, number 001, being donated to the top fundraiser of 2023.

In addition to the limited Bonneville T120 Black DGR in celebration of its 10th anniversary, Triumph has further strengthened its relationship with DGR by also becoming the official clothing partner of the DGR in that 10th year. That’s done with a new range of limited edition lifestyle apparel to celebrate the DGR, created to bring in extra cash for men’s health.
