Turkey’s TOGG is present at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, early January. It is very likely that the Turks will show one or more production-ready cars there.

In Turkey, six companies are working on a new national car brand under the name TOGG. TOGG presented several concept cars in one fell swoop at the end of 2019, with which it managed to draw a lot of attention to itself. Since then, a lot of hard work has gone into getting the models ready for production. This was apparent from, among other things, patent drawings that AutoWeek managed to surface in November. Now TOGG announces that it has a booth at CES in Las Vegas and wants to show “mobility of the future.”

Chances are, TOGG will show at least one production-ready model at CES. We’re betting that it’s the ‘C-SUV’ (see photo at the top of this article), since that car was featured on the patent plates. That is, as the name implies, an SUV that should serve the compact middle segment. A fully electric one, that is. The design comes from Pininfarina’s design studio, not the least name. Little else is known about the car, although it seems that customers can choose from a version with a nose with a conventional-looking grille and one without this grille.

TOGG

In 2019, TOGG also showed a sedan that, as far as we know, has not yet surfaced in a patent database. Perhaps TOGG will surprise us and that car will also be in Las Vegas. Let’s hope very hard that CES can go ahead.
