Software République, a part of the Renault Group that focuses on future mobility, is launching a special study model. In short, the U1st Vision is a self-driving emergency vehicle, in this case decked out as a kind of doctor’s office.

Software République thinks about the future and apparently envisions a society in which personal attention for sick people is even less possible than it is now. A vehicle such as this U1st Vision (‘you first’) could offer a solution in that case. This must be able to provide care in areas where, for one reason or another, a doctor cannot reach. Or rather; self-care. You can get in and chat with an ‘avatar’ who, with the help of artificial intelligence, will show you what is needed.

Of course, Software République sees more possibilities with this electric car: other modules can also be placed on the back. We should consider, among other things, a kind of roadside assistance module for minor (bicycle) breakdowns, or a return point for electrical appliances.
