Bad but also good news. Alfa Romeo reports that the complete series of Giulia’s GTA and GTAm is sold out. That means that the brand has sold 500 units of the Italian-spirited sports sedans in about a year.

In March 2020, Alfa Romeo presented the Giulia GTA and GTAm to the world with appropriate bravado. Both the Giulia GTA and GTAm were extra potent and in every way elevated variations on the already successful Giulia Q theme. The two Giulia’s GTA would be available together in an edition of only 500 pieces. All of these have now been sold, Alfa Romeo reports. The number of Giulia’s GTA sold in the Netherlands can be counted on two hands, but that is not surprising given the small production number and the hefty price tags of the two.

Alfa Romeo Giulia GT Am

The 2.9 biturbo V6, which is good for 510 hp in the Giulia Q, stamped out no less than 540 hp in the GTAs. The GTA lost 100 kilos compared to a regular Giulia Q, received a 5 centimeters wider track both at the front and rear, an adapted chassis and a heavy body kit. The Giulia GTAm went even further. As with the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA, in this variant, things like the hood, roof, front bumper and parts of the seats were made of carbon fiber, but for further weight reduction this version had to do without a rear seat and beautifully finished door panels. Although you got a roll cage, an exhaust system from Akrapovič, a heavy rear spoiler and fanatically widened rear wheel arches in return.

It’s over and out for the Giulia’s GTA, but the Alfa Romeo Giulia Q remains available.
