Are you on the road, do you have an iPhone with you and do you not have the option to charge it? Then an iPad can be your lifesaver. Especially in emergency situations.
It is possible, just like with the Mac, to charge your iPhone with an iPad. Works very easily, but the option is sometimes overlooked.
iPad lifesaver for your iPhone
The chance that the emergency is really high generally remains small. Yet there are times, for example in emergency situations, when you can simply use your iPhone well. Normally you have charged this sufficiently or you have a power bank at hand. But what if this is not the case? Then it is hoped that you have an iPad at hand.
Many people are aware that you can charge your iPhone with your Mac. Fewer people know that this is also possible with the iPad. Just like with the Mac, you can easily connect your iPhone to your iPad using the standard cable that comes with it. Plug the Lighting connector into your iPhone, the USB-C end into your tablet and the charging can begin.

So all you need is an iPhone with a USB-C cable and a new model iPad. For example, the mini, Air and Pro are all provided. The only model where it is not possible, that is logically the eighth generation iPad. This model is still equipped with a Lightning connection.
With the screen down
If you don’t have an iPad with you, but you still want to save battery? Then it is smart to place the screen of your iPhone face down on the table. This has a positive influence on the battery life.
