Vanderhall Motor Works is an American three-wheeler manufacturer that is expanding its portfolio with the Navarro, an electric off-roader with a decent retro look. The Navarro should actually be on Vanderhall’s menu by 2022.
The Vanderhall Navarro is a fully electrically powered off-road that looks like it had been driven off a Baja 1000 race. Vanderhall Motor Works is still keeping extensive technical specifications under its cap, although the company is already scattering some figures that give an indication of what the Navarro should be capable of.
The Navarro should get four electric motors that together are good for an output of more than 300 hp and about 680 Nm of torque. The Navarro will be available with a battery pack of up to 60 kWh, with which the electric fun machine should be able to achieve an estimated electric range of more than 320 kilometers. Vanderhall supplies the Navarro with a 6 kW on-board charger as standard. The top version of the Navarro stands on 18-inch alloy with 35-inch large off-road tires folded around it. Thanks to four-wheel steering, individually controlled electric motors and suspension travel of roughly half a meter, the Navarro has to hold its own on difficult terrain.
Vanderhall Navarro (interior)
The Navarro is covered with a retro design sauce both inside and out. The dashboard, with its three-clock instruments and its subtle button island with apparently chrome-plated switches, looks at least quite classic. An indicative price has not yet been released by Vanderhall.
Vanderhall Venice
Vanderhall only builds tricycles, vehicles such as the Laguna, Venice (photo 4 and 5) and Carmel. Vanderhall also has an electric version of the Venice on the menu: the Edision 2. Vanderhall says it is more than just a manufacturer of three-wheelers. If the Navarro can be ordered around 2022, the company will actually live up to its word.
