After installation (and registration via email), VideoProc Vlogger gives you the opportunity to run a hardware scan to determine whether your system supports hardware acceleration, and then the application will configure itself optimally.

The program window is divided into several panes. On the left a panel for adding media, transitions and effects, in the middle a preview pane, on the right a panel with manipulations based on the selected media (such as for transparency and colors), and at the bottom the timeline with tracks for video, audio, overlays and effects.

Basic Operations

VideoProc Vlogger supports the main audio and video formats and can handle resolutions such as 4K, 8K and HDR 10 bit. The app has more than sixty transitions, each with a preview, which you just need to move to the desired place on the timeline. This also applies to the fifty effects and to the animated title designs. The latter can also be adjusted in all kinds of ways: from the animation duration and the degree of rotation to text and shadow colors.

Of course you can also perform all kinds of operations on the media itself. Besides dividing and moving clips, you can also easily crop the images, separate the audio track from the video and so on.

VideoProc Vlogger looks nice and clear and also offers a lot of transitions and effects.

Additional edits

More advanced edits are also possible and this is done in a comfortably large window. This applies, for example, to the advanced color editor. Although it has a few dozen ready-made color effects, you can also adjust the colors yourself via a dozen sliders. There is also a flexible motion editor that supports keyframes, as well as a speed editor that lets you slow down or speed up video clips according to a specific pattern.

The resulting video can be exported in various formats, with codecs such as AVC or HEVC and in various qualities and bit ratios.

Conclusion

The name VideoProc Vlogger suggests that the app mainly focuses on vloggers, but we see no reason why you shouldn’t use it (also) as an editing tool for family videos or any footage. There are quite a lot of nice features, from transitions to movement and speed manipulations. And a bonus: the learning curve has remained surprisingly low.

Through the motion editor with keyframes you get all kinds of beautiful movement effects.
