Volkswagen announces price Golf 1.4 eHybrid

The price tags of the Golf 8 trickle in slowly. Now that the ‘conventional’ Golf with combustion engine is already driving around for a while, the plugged and peppered versions follow. Now it’s time for the entry-level plug-in hybrid: the 1.4 eHybrid.

The Golf 8 has been driving around for a while with regular TSI (mild hybrid) and TDI engines. But now the other versions appear step by step. After the GTI and the plug-in GTE already received a Dutch price, Volkswagen is now announcing how much the milder plug-in hybrid costs. In addition to the GTE with a system power of 245 hp, Volkswagen is also parking the 1.4 eHybrid. This plug-in hybrid has a system power of 204 hp. This power comes from a 150 hp 1.4 TSI that works together with an electric motor of 110 hp.

In the Netherlands, this Golf, dressed in a Style jacket, costs at least € 39,835. This 1.4 eHybrid has an all-electric range of 71 kilometers, has a top speed of 220 km / h and sprints from 0 to 100 km / h in 7.4 seconds. The price difference with the sportier GTE is € 2,775. Both electrified Golfs can be ordered immediately.
