The Volkswagen Polo is undergoing a facelift and this week we get to see the result. Not before Volkswagen already shows that the shape of the rear lights changes in any case.
The facelift of the Volkswagen Polo has less and less secrets in store for us. In January, the refined Polo already drove by with minimal camouflage, making it visible that it will look more like the Golf in detail level. Last week, Volkswagen itself already showed the headlight and a piece of the grille, confirming that image. The rear lights now shown go one step further in terms of the Golf content. It is good that we know they are from the updated Polo, because if it was the Golf, we would almost have believed it.
In addition to the modified rear lights, it also became clear that the model name will now be central on the tailgate, just below the brand logo. A tailgate that also has a slightly different shape. You can also count on modified bumpers and possibly a more spacious basic equipment with, for example, standard LED lighting. All in all, the changes should prepare the Polo for the second round. After all, with his four years of experience he has been on the road for quite some time. The curtain will be lifted on Thursday morning.
