Following on from the other 60 models, Volvo announces a new engine range for the V60. All petrol engines are equipped with mild hybrid support, the diesel versions are no longer in the price list.

Volvo is saying goodbye to its diesel engines, while the other engines are being electrified at the same pace. The V60 also has to believe it, following the S60 and XC60. The T4 and T5 petrol versions have been renamed B4 (197 hp) and B5 (250 hp) and now have a 48 Volt mild hybrid system on board, which reduces CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.

New at the bottom of the range is the B3 engine with 163 hp, so that the starting price of the V60 goes down to 41,995 euros. The plug-in hybrid versions T6 and T8 have been reduced in price by 1,000 euros to make the switch more attractive for diesel drivers. For that reason, the brand introduces the Business Pro version, which for an additional cost of 2,000 euros is equipped with LED headlights, keyless entry and start and a digital instrument panel and a multimedia and navigation system with a 9-inch touchscreen.

The Cross Country version with extra ground clearance, SUV trim and four-wheel drive, is now only available in a complete version. That is always supplied with the 250 hp B5 petrol engine.
