Minor updates V60 and XC40
Volvo offer 2022
Volvo is simplifying the range for model year 2022. With new versions, exclusively electric versions of the XC60 and XC90 and minor updates for the V60 and XC40.
A new year, a new product range: Volvo is simplifying the model range. The well-known versions Momentum, Inscription and R-Design are no longer available. The new versions Essential, Core, Plus and Ultimate are equipped with a richer standard. Thus, the option list will be smaller.
The second change, reducing the number of engine variants, is in line with the further electrification of the models. The petrol variants of the Volvo XC60 and XC90 are no longer available. From now on, only the ‘Recharge’ models (plug in hybrid and electric versions) are available. The Volvo V90 Cross Country will be completely canceled due to this strategy.
Updates V60 and XC40
The estate car V60 will remain available with a petrol powertrain for the time being. This wagon, like the SUV XC40, will receive a small update with a new front. The rear bumper of the V60 has also been modified, with the exhausts out of sight. From now on, most Volvo models, including the V60, come standard with the Android infotainment system that offers Google functions and advanced driver assistance systems.
Finally, Volvo has tightened the prices of the plug-in hybrid V60 and XC40. Below you will find the starting prices of all modified Volvos for model year 2022.
