Apple announces MacBook Air with M4 chip
After the 24-inch iMac and MacBook Pro, Apple added the powerful M4 chip to the MacBook Air. Just like the previous generation, the M4 chip was designed using a 3NM manufacturing process and you can notice this in the performance of the chip.
The update for the MacBook Air with M4 chip is limited, which only improved the specifications. For example, the design of the MacBook Air has not changed and is still available in two different sizes. For example, you can choose from a 13.6-inch display or a MacBook Air with a 15.3-inch screen.
iOS 18.4 adds new emoji to iPhone, iPad and Mac
Attention emoji enthusiasts, because new emoticons have been announced. Unicode Consortium, the creators of the emojis, have released Beta for Unicode 16 with new emoji. This way we already know which emoticons we can expect later this year.
The current range of emoji is already large, which is why the update has been limited to seven brand new emoji that you can send and use, including an emoticon with bags under the eyes, fingerprint, tree without leaves, harp, shovel and more. The new emoticons will only be added in a later version of iOS 18, iPados 18 and macOS 15, possibly in the spring of 2025.
