Are you looking for a new music service? With Apple Music you have multiple subscriptions with different prices. That’s how much you pay!
Apple Music (Classical)
Apple’s own music service is becoming increasingly extensive. At Apple Music you can listen to more than 100 million songs and 30,000 playlists. Do you want to be completely immersed in the music? Then there are plenty of songs that have spatial audio. This function makes you feel like you are in the middle of the song. Moreover, Apple Music allows you to listen to music both online and offline. Very handy when you are on the road.
In 2023, Apple expanded the music service with Apple Music Classical. The name already gives it away: it is a separate app that is specifically intended for listening to classical music. You get the classical music service from Apple Music, but you have to take out a subscription. Apple Music can only be used to a limited extent if you do not pay. That’s why we compare the prices and subscriptions of Apple Music for you!
These subscriptions are available with Apple Music
With Apple Music you have multiple subscriptions. The free version of Apple Music is limited. You can then only hear fragments of songs and it is not possible to create playlists or download music. Spotify, on the other hand, can be used more extensively without a subscription. With Apple Music it is therefore advisable to opt for a paid subscription. These options are available:
1. Individual (10.99 euros per month)
With the individual subscription you get access to Apple Music for one person. You get access to all the paid features of the music service, including Lossless audio, ad-free playlists, Apple Music Sing and offline music listening. With this subscription you have a free trial subscription of one month, after which you pay 10.99 euros per month. You can then use Apple Music on all your devices via your Apple Account.
2. Student (5.99 euros per month)
Do you still study? Then you get a discount on Apple Music. You must be able to verify your registration with higher education. When taking out your subscription, you must prove that you are studying at an educational institution. With this subscription you also first have a free trial subscription of one month, after which you pay 5.99 euros per month. As a student you get the same functions as an individual user.
3. Family (16.99 euros per month)
With the Family plan, you get access to the same features of Apple Music as an individual user, but with a few extras. You can share this subscription with six users. Every subscriber gets their own personal music library and recommendations. You can share this subscription through your iCloud account by selecting ‘Family Sharing’. This way you can divide the amount by six, so that you pay a lot less than an individual user!
Free Apple Music
There are several ways to listen to Apple Music for free. All paid subscriptions naturally include a free trial period, but you can also qualify for up to six months of free Apple Music. This is what you get when you buy a new iPhone, iPad or other Apple device. You also get a free period of six months with new AirPods. The only condition: you must not have had Apple Music before.
Are you still looking for new earphones and don’t have Apple Music yet? Then you get six months of free Apple Music with your new AirPods.
