According to Team Green, the reintroduction of the Ninja ZX-6R has been a hit, in no time the Little Supersport was also sold out last season. Reason for the importer to bring the 2026 model, in two new colors, to the Benelux earlier to meet the demand.
We had already discovered that Kawasaki with the Ninja ZX-6R had a damn nice bike in the house last year, initially during his presentation at Circuit in Spain and then during a direct comparison with the CBR600RR, which is also completely renovated for 2024, on the TT circuit of Assen and the Limburg hilly landscape.
The second test showed that the ZX-6R combines the best of two worlds: Pure Performance on the circuit and a wide use of the street. Thanks to the 636cc Vierinlijn, which has just that little bit more lung capacity as a standard 600 superport (although nowadays little is left of it).
Compared to his predecessor, who had been removed from the range because of the stricter emission requirements, Kawasaki had put the finishing touches. In terms of electronics, with a Quickshifter, adjustable traction control and four driving modes (sports, road, rain and the adjustable Rider Mode), but also in terms of aerodynamics, brakes and suspension.
The 2026 Ninja ZX-6R is available in two new colors, one based on the colors of the Kawasaki Worldsbk team: Lime Green and Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray/Metallic Spark Black/Lime Green. Prices will be announced later.
