The most realistic iPhone 13 Pro concept to date is not the most exciting. Are the improvements you see here enough to make the switch this fall?
iPhone 13 Pro concept gives a realistic picture
September is slowly but surely coming into view, so the iPhone 13 is not long in coming. All rumors indicate that it appears to be an ‘iPhone 12S’, with smaller changes that are less visible than last year.
We also see that in this concept of LetsGoDigital: No crazy or groundbreaking stuff, but the most realistic concept we’ve seen of the device so far.
The concept is based on leaked schematic drawings, which show that the iPhone 13 will be slightly thicker than last year and get larger camera lenses, especially for the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The latest external change is the notch at the top of the screen, which would be slightly smaller for the first time since the iPhone X.
The concept video also shows the iPhone 13 Pro in new colors, although nothing concrete has leaked about this yet. However, there is a good chance that at least one new color will be added this year, to visually distinguish the iPhone 13 series from its predecessors.
Fewer big steps than last year
It’s no surprise that the iPhone 13 is not as big this year as it was last year. The iPhone 12 introduced a new design that will take over from the iPhone 13. However, the hopes of many users are based on a number of other fine adjustments. For example, the Pro series would get a ProMotion screen with a refresh rate of 120 hertz, which makes animations much smoother. Apple would also consider an always on screen, with OLED this is a possibility without asking too much of the battery.
With this screen you can always show information, even when the device is locked. For example, you can see the time, or a counter that shows the number of incoming emails. Although these adjustments have already surfaced several times in rumors surrounding these new smartphones, it is still questionable whether they will actually be implemented this year.
