The winners of the prestigious Das Goldene Lenkrad car award have been announced. After an extensive test at the Lausitzring, by motoring journalists and drivers, among others, one car was crowned best in each category.
The readers of, among others, AutoBild 24 cars sent to the final of Das Goldene Lenkrad. They were able to prove themselves at the Lausitzring in front of a diverse jury, including the well-known German driver Joachim Winkelhock, DTM champion Maximilian Götz, AutoBild editor-in-chief Tom Drechsler and also our own editor-in-chief, Damiaan Hage. They tested cars in different categories: compact cars, compact electric cars, mid-range and top-end cars, mid-range and top-class electric cars, SUVs, electric SUVs, sports cars and family cars.
