With a lease budget, you choose a lease car that fits within the given budget. You drive in it as long as you work for the employer or until the lease contract expires.
A mobility budget is a monthly allowance for the employee to purchase his mobility himself. This can be done in any way that the employee wants: public transport annual pass, a bicycle, a private car, etc. The employee is therefore responsible for his or her business mobility. The part of the budget that has not been used is added to the gross salary.
Mobility budget, not intended for road-eaters
A mobility budget is often used by people who live in an urban area. When you work in an urban area, or often have to be in the city center for work, a mobility budget gives you the space to use alternative transport that is well organized in cities. If you need a car for your work visits on a daily basis and you drive a lot of kilometers, choose a lease budget. A lease budget is always the safe choice when you are on the road a lot.
Private lease car in the mobility budget
A private lease car is also possible within a mobility budget. An employee can be billed for the business kilometers by means of a kilometer allowance. Please note that as an employee you enter into contact with a lease company for four or five years. When you leave the employer, your mobility budget stops, but your lease contract continues as usual.
