On December 28, we expect the launch of the Xiaomi 12, but one day before that event, several major leaks have surfaced. We get specs lists about the Pro version and official product renders of the regular Xiaomi 12. Here’s the overview.
Xiaomi 12 fully leaked
Just like last year, Xiaomi will come before the turn of the year with a successor to its flagship. The Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro are already being presented in China and will probably come to us in the spring of 2022. Tomorrow Xiaomi will announce everything officially, but one day before the launch, the phones were completely leaked.
Let’s start with official press renders featuring well-known rumor spreader Evan Blass on Twitter has shown. This gives us a great idea of the design of the Xiaomi 12, which has a rectangular camera island and three lenses on the back. The phone will come in four colors: green, pink, blue and black. It is not yet known whether all these shades will also come to the Netherlands and Belgium. As icing on the cake, Blass also shares the promotional video below where we get to see the phone and all its colors in action.
Xiaomi 12 (Pro) Specifications
And more news has also come out about the Pro version. According to a Chinese rumor, that phone will have a larger 6.73-inch AMOLED screen, compared to the Xiaomi 12, which has a QHD resolution. The camera consists of three 50 MP cameras: a main lens, wide-angle camera and telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. On the front is a 32 MP selfie camera. The Pro version also comes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and has a 4600 mAh battery that you can charge with a powerful 120W fast charger. The speakers have been optimized in collaboration with Harman Kardon.
We already knew that the regular Xiaomi 12 comes with a 6.28 inch AMOLED screen that has a Full HD resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The device has the same chipset, but it comes with a slightly smaller 4,500 mAh battery and a 67W faster. Xiaomi opts for a different camera setup with a 50MP main camera, a 13MP wide-angle camera and a telephoto camera that offers 3x optical zoom. Both phones will work with Android 12 and Xiaomi’s MIUI 13 shell. The design of both devices will also be very similar.

Prices and availability
The point about which the least is known at the moment is the information about the price and the launch date in the Netherlands and Belgium. The Xiaomi 12 is expected to cost at least 512 euros and that applies to the base model with 8 GB of RAM and 12 GB of storage. Are you curious about these phones?
