A Xiaomi employee has announced via Twitter when the new 12 series will be shown. The Chinese launch is next week and the phone will be coming to other regions after that.
Launch Xiaomi 12
When Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 earlier this month, Xiaomi was ready with good news. The Xiaomi 12 will be one of the first smartphones with this new processor to hit the market. The Chinese smartphone maker did not announce when the new high-end smartphones would be launched, but that will change today. The company has now officially revealed the release date of the Xiaomi 12 series.

Both on Twitter and on the Chinese Weibo we see that Xiaomi has scheduled a launch event on December 28 at 7:30 PM local time.
Software
At least two phones have been confirmed, the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro, but it is rumored that we may also see a third model called the Xiaomi 12X. Like confirmed Xiaomi CEO Lei June launches the Xiaomi 12 with MIUI 13, the latest version of the company’s custom skin. design
Xiaomi shared earlier today also a teaser of the Xiaomi 12 series that gives a look at the design of both phones. As you can see in the image below, the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro will have an almost borderless design, with a notch in the top center for the selfie camera.
Cameras and battery
According to previous leaks, the Xiaomi 12 is said to have three 50MP rear cameras consisting of a 50MP main camera, a 50MP wide-angle camera and a 50MP telephoto lens with 5X optical zoom. According to other rumors, Xiaomi puts a 5,000 mAh copy in its phone. The device can also charge with a 100W charger.
