Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 smartphones for striking photos

Xiaomi offers many products in the field of (smart) consumer electronics, such as the Xiaomi Redmi Pad and the Xiaomi Redmi Buds 6 of which you can read in the recently published PC-Active 340. Now Xiaomi comes with the new Redmi Note 14 Series that includes no less than five devices: the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 14 Pro, Redmi Note 14 5G and Redmi Note 14. Xiaomi mainly emphasizes the Cameras that are equipped with an AI camera system with high resolution, further sustainability and performance.

Cameras Redmi Note 14 Series
The pro-variants of the Redmi Note 14 Series have a powerful 200MP AI camera system with optical image stabilization (OIS) for striking details. In addition, the advanced zoom options are versatile: from recording the smallest details with 2x and 4x optical-grade lossless zoom, to reaching far-reaching subjects with up to 30x digital zoom on the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, and and Discovering new possibilities with 20x digital zoom on the Redmi Note 14 Pro. The Redmi Note 14 and Redmi Note 14 5G are in turn equipped with a 108MP AI camera system that delivers vibrant colors and sharp details.
The cameras at the front of the Redmi Note 14 Series are upgraded to at least 20 MP, and the Redmi Note 14 Pro has a striking 32MP camera on the front. In addition, all cameras at the front have a 0.8x wide-angle zoom, so that you can easily (there) get everyone on a selfie.

Creative functions
The cameras of the Redmi Note 14 Series have various new creative functions, such as Dynamic Shots that bring each image to life with subtle movements and dual video, with which users can simultaneously record with both the camera on the front and back to fix multiple perspectives to lay.
The editing on the PRO models also has advanced AI functions, such as AI Image Expansion¹ that expands the background for a more striking recording, and AI Erase Pro ens makes it easy to remove unwanted objects without apps from third parties. In addition to AI Erase, the basic models also have AI Sky to easily change backgrounds. This integration of AI-tools² improves the quality of photos.

Robust
The Redmi Note 14 Series is fall, splash and scratch resistant according to Xiaomi. This starts with an All-Star Armor Structure for improved fall resistance in the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G: This structure consists of a powerful aluminum composite frame, energy-absorbent foam and polymeer buffer material. In the meantime, the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 display gives the Pro models an extra boost in scratch resistance. This is combined with a Corning Gorilla Glass 7i or Vegan Leather Cover on Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G for extra certainty⁷. For the rest of the series, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 offers the display solid protection.
With an IP68 certification⁴, Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G offer good protection against dust and water. Both the Redmi Note 14 Pro and the Redmi Note 14 5G have an IP64 certification⁵ that offers protection against dust and splashes. Redmi Note 14 has an IP54 certification⁵ for splash and dust resistance. In addition, all devices have an optimized display to guarantee increased responsiveness and accuracy of touch entry, even in wet or greasy conditions.

Processor and battery
The model of the highest category, Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G, is equipped with the new 4NM Snapdragon 7S Gen 3-processor and a 5110MAH battery⁶ with 120W Hypercharge. The Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and other models are equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-UTRA and MediaTek Helio G100-UTrtra chipsets and large batteries from 5110 mAh to 5500 mAh⁶.
In addition to the pure battery capacity, all models are equipped with long-cycle batteries designed for long-term reliability and retain up to 80% of their capacity after 1,600 loading cycles. To further extend the lifespan of the battery, Smart Charging and Big-Data-Based Aging Prediction work together, so that the charging process is optimized and the battery health is proactively maintained for consistent performance. In addition, all Pro models contain a Quick Turn-on function, which offers the convenience to start up within a few seconds after the battery is deflected.

Google Gemini

With a 120Hz display, the Redmi Note 14 series offers excellent screens, while the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G offer a sharp 1.5k resolution for more details.
