Small news: the Chinese Xpeng will not only come to the Netherlands in 2022, but also immediately in the first quarter.
“We are proud to announce that we can welcome you in our showroom in the first quarter of 2022,” the brand new Xpeng reports in its Christmas greeting. That’s great, because then we know that ‘2022’ at Xpeng certainly does not mean December 2022. The showroom mentioned will also be an ‘Xpeng Experience Center’ in or around Amsterdam, but more will follow.
The first car that Xpeng will carry in the Netherlands is the Xpeng P7. That is a direct competitor for the Tesla Model 3 and of course just as electric. Xpeng promises a 0-100 time of 4.5 seconds and a range of 530 km.
We’ve tried to get in touch with Xpeng for more details, but until we get a response we’ll have to make do with this. The good news: we’ll know more in a few months anyway!
