You can read this in AutoWeek 2

Techzle 2 will be in the shops from tomorrow or on your doorstep this week. Time to go over what to expect this week in our packed magazine.

In this issue there is extra attention for those who are looking for a new car with a modest budget. The Dacia Sandero has been a popular choice in that regard for years. The cheap Romanian is now starting a new chapter on a much fresher basis than before. In addition, it is also back from the factory with an engine that also likes LPG, which of course saves a sip on a drink. All in all, does that make the Sandero even more value for money?

Seat Mii Electric vs. Renault Twingo Electric

Those who prefer not to work with fuel at all, but also do not want to pay the main prize for a new car, can turn to Seat and Renault. They offer the most affordable new electric cars at the moment. The Twingo Electric is newer and cheaper, but is it convincing enough to leave the Mii? We figured it out.

Higher in the electric range, there is also good news for those who do not necessarily have to be ‘top of the bill’. From now on, the Polestar 2 is also available without the Performance Pack. In this case affordable is of course a relative concept, but it still makes a difference. In addition, you may wonder whether the Polestar might not meet expectations without the sporty extras, although that is of course largely a personal matter.

Rimac

From the humble Mii and Twingo, we jump through the Polestar to the other end of the electric spectrum. Rimac has been working on the C_Two for quite some time now, an electric hypercar with specifications that make you head over heels. Time for a look behind the scenes at the Croatian company and of course also a good moment to experience what roughly 2,000 electric horsepower feels like.

Also in the highest echelons of the automotive world are the Audi A8 and the brand-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Of course they do not distinguish themselves so much with their powertrain, but with pure luxury. Mercedes is aiming for the latest S-class and that gives the already significantly older A8 a tough task. Cornelis Kit puts his finger on the sore spots at the Audi now that Mercedes-Benz has pushed the boundaries again.

Suzuki Swift Clock Round

Finally, in addition to the Dacia Sandero, we have another car in the magazine that likes LPG. Henk Willo Tappel’s 15-year-old Suzuki Swift is, after his previous car – a Volvo V70 D5 – the ultimate cost saver. With almost 3 tons on the clock, it has already covered quite a few cheap kilometers. Will it remain an economically sound car or will major expenses still arise? In Klokje Rond the Suzuki is held up to the light.

This and more can all be read in the latest Techzle, which will be in stores this week from Wednesday. Would you rather not go out? Order from the easy chair the latest number. Then it will be delivered to your door within two working days.
