Techzle 51/52 will be in the shops from tomorrow, time to read what you can expect this week in our packed magazine.
As usual, we close the year with a double-thick number. In Techzle 51/52 you get enough reading material for two weeks in one fell swoop! So you certainly don’t have to get bored with the holidays. This issue focuses on the most diverse cars. For example, we have completed our first kilometers in the Toyota GR Yaris. A wonderful sporty splurge from Toyota, which Marco Gorter recently talked about full of enthusiasm in this video. In Techzle 51/52 you can read his extensive experience with this striking hot hatchback.

That is not the only sporting pleasure that is discussed, because we also drove the Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet and the Ferrari F8 Tributo Spider. With the current weather conditions you may not have to think about driving open, but with these two homeless cannons, next spring will be a real pleasure. Those who prefer to take it a bit easier with their bank account can go to Ford for a special sporty combination. There is an ST version of the Puma and we are happy to tell you if that works out a bit.

One step lower in the range, we find two little ones who can secretly offer quite a lot of driving pleasure. The Volkswagen Up GTI has been around for quite a while now, but it actually only finds a potential competitor in the form of the Hyundai i10 N-line. The latter goes with its 100 hp through a limit that the i10 never broke through. So unexplored territory for Hyundai, but perhaps an immediate bull’s eye?
Incidentally, the emphasis is on sporty cars in this issue, but that does not mean that only sporty models are discussed. For example, we also drove the new Volkswagen Caddy for the first time and put the new plug-in hybrid Range Rover Evoque to the test. It gets to do with a three-cylinder, but thanks to the electric support you really have no reason to complain in that car in terms of power.

Mini has proven for many years that you can drive very nice even without a remarkable amount of power. Whether you can enjoy it for a long time is in some cases a bit of a question. The owner of the above Mini Cooper from 2004 is happy in that regard. Well, 275,000 km is not an absurdly high position, but we would still like to see what potential is in such a Mini after 16 years.
After all, you have been able to enjoy the Barrelbrigade again in recent weeks. Just like the year, the 2020 edition is unfortunately also coming to an end. The barrels have been subjected to various challenges and tests, some of them being more favorable than others. Yet it appears that surprises are lurking again this year. You can read that in the grande finale this week.
All this and more can be read in the latest Techzle, which will be in stores this week from Wednesday. Would you rather not go out? Order from the easy chair the latest number. Then he will arrive on the doormat within two working days.
